The objects of the Cyprus Turf Club, as referred to in its Constitution are:

1. To promote and control the sport of horse-racing throughout Cyprus in every way which seems proper to the Club.
2. To encourage, improve and regulate the breeding of race horses in Cyprus.
3. To grant and withdraw licences to racecourses and to officials, trainers, jockeys and others on such terms and conditions as may be thought fit.
4. To organise and run a school for jockeys, to approve the establishment and supervise the running of any school of jockeys and generally to do such other acts or things as may be incidental or conducive to the attainment of objects of the Club.
5. To make Rules of Racing which shall be applicable to all race meetings in Cyprus held under the auspices of the Club.
